Rialto, San Bernardino County
Orange and lemon groves surrounded Rialto for most of its first century, and packing houses lined the railroad tracks. Housing replaced the orchards after World War II, and the population passed 100,000 by 2020. Large distribution centers now occupy the north end of the city, including land where the municipal airport operated until 2014.
